The Weekend // 04

It has been stormy here in Austin, and I've been enjoying hanging out inside on the couch - watching TV, playing wii and cooking yummy food.  Last night we tried this indian food recipe and it turned out perfectly.  We served it with a big bowl of basmati, homemade mango chutney, this Indian saag (sautéed bitter greens and spinach) garlic naan and a greek yogurt + mint sauce.

How perfect is this sweet event website, Gather? I love the simplicity behind their beautifully crafted wedding styling. It reminds me of this small dinner party concept out Nashville. I guess I have a thing for beautiful evenings right now.

Wouldn't it be amazing to run a small, curated business like that?  Someday I would like to own a small online shop filled with curated goods from my travels around the world. These two  really nailed it, Someware and Lydali.  They've got me seriously contemplating taking the plunge and doing it.

I just ordered a set of these Tattly feathers for the fall because I would like to pretend for a weekend that I have a tattoo. Just a weekend, mind you.

I have a serious crush on all things South Africa right now. There is something so pared down and elegant about their design and creative community. I would love to travel there to meet everyone behind some of the amazing blogs I've been pouring over lately. This one, A Size to Small is just perfect and of course there is Miss Moss. Wonderfully done ladies.  Most of my weekend wanderings on the internet today have been through your lenses (and how I stumbled upon Gather and Lydali, so thanks!).
