Music is one of the strongest memory triggers out there for me. It's as if the song is an anchor to a specific moment in time and whenever you hear it, the memories just flood in.
The majority of my favorite travel moments revolve around specific songs or playlists. At the end of July we made the journey to Tomorrowland in Belgium. If you haven't heard of it, go watch this video. right. now.
It is a life-altering, otherworldly, chill-bump-inducing experience that I recommend for anyone with a pulse - the production is out of this world and the people who flock there are truly nicer than at any festival I have ever been to.
Seeing that many people come together for a single experience has left me a better person. More loving, caring and understanding. It was an incredible feeling to see people from all corners of the world start dancing and singing to the same songs when just moments before all you could hear was the hum of unrecognizable languages all around you.
I'll never forget the moment at the mainstage, day one when it started pouring rain during Hardwell's set. That and Mammoth (below) will forever bring back the most incredible feelings and memories from our weekend at Tomorrowland.
P.S. did you miss out on the fun in Belgium? you can still catch Tomorrowworld right here in Georgia. check it out here.
